How to Connect Solar Panels in Parallel

1. Locate the positive terminal and the negative terminal on each solar panel. Refer to your panels' instructions if you need help identifying which is which.

2. Take your black wire with your left hand and connect it to the negative terminal of solar panel No. 1. Take the other end of the black wire with your right hand and connect it to the negative terminal of solar panel No. 2.

3. Take your red wire with your left hand and connect it to the positive terminal of solar panel No. 1. Take the other end of the red wire with your right hand and connect it to the positive terminal of solar panel No. 2.

4. Connect the negative terminals of panels No. 2 and 3 with your second black wire.

5. Take your second red wire and connect the positive terminal of solar panel No. 2 to the positive terminal of solar panel No. 3.
